2002-05- Attended Colin Lewis’ Ho Yoku School of Bonsai receiving certification to instruct.
2004-06- Club ambassador to the Board of Directors of the Midatlantic Bonsai Societies.
2004-08- Guest lecturer on Bonsai, Ct Flower Show.
Past President and Vice President of the Bonsai Society of Greater Hartford. Active member of 5 clubs locally and nationally.
2005- Nutmeg Television (Public TV), 12 part series on Bonsai History and Technique.
Bonsai: Illusion vs. Reality, an article for CT Gardener Magazine.
Monthly newsletter contributor for the Bonsai Society of Greater Hartford. A column called Ramblins'.
Guest lecturer and instructor at many Bonsai and Garden Clubs and Bonsai Exhibitions.
I have studied with many Bonsai Artists from around the world in day long, workshop formatted events. These Artists are too numerous to list but the contacts are well maintained as I’ve often hosted the traveling guest artists at my home.

2003- Third Place Long Island Annual Bonsai Exhibit and Convention.
2004-05- Two time runner up in the Joshua Roth, North American, New Talent Competition.
2005- Two trees juried into the Exhibition at the World Fifth Bonsai Convention in Washington DC.
2005- Exhibit Committee Award, Midatlantic Bonsai Societies.
2006- First, third and two honorable mentions, Tower Hill Botanical Garden Annual Bonsai weekend and Exhibition.
2007- First Place, Tower Hill Botanical Garden Annual Bonsai weekend and Exhibition.
2007- Sanctuary Bonsai incorporates and opens to the trade.
2008- Second and Third Place, Tower Hill Botanical Garden Annual Bonsai weekend and Exhibition.
2009- Tree juried in and shown in the First National Bonsai Exhibition
